Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and expand sales for diesel engines, machinery, and dewatering pumps within the assigned market. The role involves managing key accounts, developing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and leading a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in diesel engines, excellent leadership abilities, and the capacity to maintain strong customer relationships with both government and private sector clients. German-speaking candidates will be preferred.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales of engines, parts, and services.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the designated territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market share and promote company products and services.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the regional sales team to enhance skills, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Conduct field ride-alongs, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions to ensure an effective sales process.
  • Deliver training programs to improve the team’s technical and sales competencies.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and develop new partnerships.
  • Provide technical support and solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and prompt issue resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Stay updated on new products, market trends, competition, and pricing within the diesel engine industry.
  • Promote value-added products and services, including Xchange engines and parts, to increase customer value.
  • Use CRM software to track sales performance, manage customer pipelines, and generate detailed reports.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and territory performance reports.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with clients such as DEWA, SEWA, ETISALAT, and other government entities.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the diesel engine industry.
  • Proven experience in sales of diesel engines, machinery, and dewatering pumps.
  • Strong technical understanding of diesel engine operations, mechanics, troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving yearly sales targets and meeting performance-based commission structures.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other digital tools for managing sales and customer data.
  • Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a car.
