Your RoleLike the range of flavours that we have, your role would have broad spectrum from design to execution of projects with sales, category management, distributor and multi-functional commercial teams. This role is required to drive excellence in internal and external commercial operations leveraging best-in-class industry practices. Key deliverables would include designing and deploying an ‘enabling setup’ having right business intelligence tools, driving operational discipline to chase the right inputs and preparing ourselves ready for tomorrow, across all Arabia markets.
Main responsibilities
- Rolling out and running efficient distributor data exchange platforms with driving internal utility of the same
- Codify required external capabilities to enable smooth operations with distributors
- Upgrade business planning cycles broken into yearly, quarterly and monthly touchpoints with relevant stakeholders
- Enable teams to elevate partnership quotient of Lipton Teas and Infusions with key accounts and distributor partners
- Gamify the operationalization of instore fundamentals across layers of internal and external selling organizations
- Assess right GTM models for mass trade and specialty channels
- Identify and partner with 3P in driving upscaling current retail execution capabilities
- Formalize upskilling and objective-based capability building of multi-functional teams
- Owning business intelligence reports and dashboards
Stakeholder Management & Key Interfaces
- Closely working with customer development, category & multi-functional commercial teams
- Arabia leadership and regional business excellence teams
- Arabia distributor teams – KAMs, channel managers and data team
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales; 3-5 years in actual selling roles
- 2 years of working within GCC on consumer goods
- Demonstrated experience of driving operational efficiencies and capability upgrades
- Experience in digitization of manual retail / distributor operations
- Proven track record of envisioning a commercial concept and driving teams towards common goal
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Compelling grip on business intelligence tools like PowerBI, MS Excel (with Macros)
- Exposure to all major trade channels with foundational knowledge on and experience in influencing channel-based business drivers
- Entrepreneurial spirit and progressive mindset
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and tackling challenges directly, with a focus on delivering impactful results
Preferred:
- Graduate in Business Administration or any field of Management Sciences
- Experience in managing teams
- Experience of working with distributor / in distributor setup
- Mixed experience of selling, sales planning, GTM design
