We have a fantastic opportunity for a Scheduler / Project Planner to work on a major project.
You will:
- Developing and updating project schedules and tracking schedule progress against baseline.
- Preparing time-chainage diagrams.
- Identifying and advising on the most appropriate planning and construction process to the client.
- Working within client teams as part of the client integrated project team and able to manage the preparation of detailed program reports as required by the client or by Jacobs’ managers.
- Attending and/or facilitating planning and scheduling workshops as required by clients or Jacobs' managers.
- Accurately forecasting and assessing the time and buildability of a project.
- Preparing or assisting in preparation of pre-contract documentation.
- Assisting in evaluating progress claims.
- Contributing effectively to progress review meetings.
- Participating and contributing in value management workshops.
- Participating and contributing in risk workshops.
· 10+ years postgraduate experience in relevant planning, engineering, construction and/or project management fields.
- You will have exposure of working as a P6 planner on large scale projects ideally for a tier 1 contractor or a project management consultancy.
- Design consultancy experience is essential .
- Bachelor degree in Engineering.
- Qualifications in Planning, Project Management or equivalent
- Proficient with the use of planning software including Primavera P6, Risk Analysis and Microsoft Project.
- Experience in program management of major engineering projects.
- Good constructability and contracting knowledge and its application to project services.
- Experience developing and building business relationships at a senior level.
- Experience implementing business and/or project plans.
