Job Description
High School
- Follow up of pre alerts and import clearance shipments with shipping line and Coordinators to ensure the proper clearance operation.
- Tracking and monitoring inbound expected sea shipment and ongoing sea shipments to avoid demurrage and other charges based in inputs received from Liner and CW1 TMS
- Maintaining daily shipment activity with port and transport team through CW1 TMS
- Ensuring the safe and timely clearance and delivery of shipments by coordinating with Customs clearance and Transport pool teams
- Carry out daily operation activities as required.
- Providing required assistance to documentation and clerical team to fulfil the operation challenges and requirements.
- Addressing query from internal accounts /Expedition team regarding activities of running jobs through CW1 TMS
- Carry out daily shipment related follow up with in internal and external teams
- Preparation of daily payment request to accounts for shipping line.
- Coordinating with Expedition Team if any required information and documents are missing which may affect the completion of operational activities and arrange for the same accordingly
- Preparation of reports and handling escalation as per the instruction / requirement from line manager.
- Assisting line manager in achieving the team goal by ensuring the deadlines are completed as per the agreed time frame
- Ensure internal and system KPI’s are monitored and fulfilled to best possible levels and update all data points and events from an operational standpoint in CW1 TMS for visibility.
- Ensure data entry / event updation accuracy
- Notify Expeditor through CW1 TMS and when/where required via email on operation status / progress and completion.
- Ensure required docs are uploaded in CW1 TMS from Operations standpoint.
- Delegation of Authority to be followed as stipulated by Finance dept & MD
- Partake in Internal & External meetings when required.
- Manage Customer complaints in a professional manner
- Follow correct protocols with internal and external stake holders and entities
- Follow code of conduct and Business Ethics of ADP & Noatum
- Always strive for excellence and enhance Customer satisfaction
- Be a good Team player at all times
- Ensure communications are handled in a Timely and professional manner
- Ensure own and others wellbeing at workplace.
