About The Role
As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising all security personnel, including contracted staff, to ensure the effective implementation and strict adherence to the hotel’s security and safety policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities or incidents
- Work closely with other hotel departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Act promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and incidents, taking appropriate actions to maintain order and safety.
- Regularly patrol the hotel premises, including public areas, guest floors, and back-of-house areas, to maintain a visible security presence and deter potential threats.
- Manage access control measures, verifying the identity of individuals entering restricted areas.
- Defuse disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Call for assistance using proper code responses.
- Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or in a similar role in a 5* Luxury/International hotel.
- A valid SIRA certification or license.
- Good communication skills, fluent in oral and written English language (and Local Language)
- Critical thinking skills, must be able to observe situations and make appropriate response
