The Role
A leading Canadian school in Abu Dhabi is seeking a SEN Teacher to join their team next academic year (Aug 2026) About the School: • International teaching team from the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, and South Africa • Students from diverse global backgrounds • Rated “Very Good” by ADEK (the 2nd highest rating) • Accredited by Alberta Education (Canada) and proud to be one of only two Alberta international schools worldwide with Tier 4 status – the highest rating awarded for inspections and performance • Excellent facilities in a safe, supportive environment Package & Benefits: • Tax-free salary: 9,000 – 12,000 AED per month (based on experience) • Fully furnished apartment with utilities included (internet & TV excluded) • Transportation to and from school • Medical and dental insurance • Annual flight allowance (aligned with summer leave) Life in Abu Dhabi: • Living in Abu Dhabi offers a safe, welcoming environment with a high quality of life. Requirements
Candidate Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years experience as a SEN Teacher • Bachelor’s degree in a related subject, ideally specialising in Special Educational Needs or PGCE / Teachers licence with a relevant degree. • Professional, adaptable, and passionate about supporting students’ wellbeing and learning • Culturally respectful, with the ability to adapt to life in a new environment
