Senior Accountant

We’re Hiring: Bilingual Arabic-English Accountant for Abu Dhabi Office

As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in fostering long-term client relationships and ensuring smooth financial operations at our Abu Dhabi office.

Your Responsibilities:

   •        Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports.

   •        Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

   •        Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.

   •        Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.

   •        Prepare and submit tax returns and other government documents.

   •        Assist with audits and provide support to auditors.

   •        Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

   •        Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

   •        Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS.

   •        Lead month-end and year-end close processes.

   •        Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.

   •        Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit preparations.

   •        Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.

Qualifications:

   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

   Partially qualified CA/ACCA with 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, and bookkeeping.

   Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.

   Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting requirements.

   Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.

   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

   Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

   Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience Required:Accountant: Minimum 2 years (Required)
