Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant , you are responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP. You oversee VAT filings, intercompany reconciliations, AP/AR processes, and maintain the fixed asset register. Acting as the main point of contact for external audits, you ensure financial accuracy, internal controls, and audit readiness. Hospitality or real estate industry experience is preferred to support effective financial operations and strategic growth.

Key Job Responsibilities

Book Closing & Financial Consolidation

• Handle full-cycle accounting and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual book closing for multiple entities within the group.
• Prepare and consolidate group financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  
  

General Ledger And Intercompany

• Oversee bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.
  
  

VAT Compliance & Statutory Reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of VAT returns for the Tax Group in compliance with tax regulations.
• Maintain updated records and supporting documentation for all tax submissions.
  
  

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Supervise AP/AR processes and ensure completeness and accuracy of ledgers.
  
  

External Audit

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors (Big 4) during annual audits.
• Prepare audit schedules, support documentation, and ensure audit readiness.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
  
  

Fixed Asset Register Management

• Maintain an up-to-date and accurate fixed asset register on behalf of the hotel owner, ensuring proper classification, depreciation, additions, disposals, and tagging.
• Ensure alignment of the fixed asset register with accounting records and audit requirements.
  
  

Hospitality Industry Focus

• Preferably be from the Hospitality or Real estate Background.
