About Our Client

We are representing an exceptional opportunity with a government-backed private equity fund based in Abu Dhabi. The team specialises in buyouts with a global investment scope and is seeking to expand its fund operations and portfolio finance team with a Senior Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and work with management to develop and enhance the fund operations and portfolio finance function. This role will require full relocation to Abu Dhabi.

What the job involves

• Preparation and review of quarterly and annual accounts for various funds
• Preparation and review of valuations monitoring, and fund performance analysis of the funds
• Preparation of quarterly investor reporting for the funds
• Liaising with the deal team to facilitate the deal process including funding, legal and FX considerations
• Regular cash management duties
• Preparation and review of drawdowns and distribution waterfalls
• Investment queries and preparation of monthly IRRs for the portfolio, funds and investors
• Preparation and review of annual taxation requirements
• Liaising with the outsourced fund administrators
• Continuous improvement efforts to standardise and automate financial procedures
• Support management on portfolio finance projects
  
  

Who we are looking for

• Qualified Accountant (or equivalent)
• Experience in a private equity fund finance function
• Understanding of portfolio monitoring and valuations
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Able to manage short and medium-term projects to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and enjoy researching technical matters
• Confident in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
• Proficient with Excel would be desirable
• The ability to relocate to Abu Dhabi
