Senior Analyst – Logistics Modelling

What You’ll Deliver

• You’ll conduct logistics simulation modelling—encompassing baggage, material handling systems, and cargo—as well as capacity analysis and planning at Dubai International and Dubai World Central (DWC) Airports.
• You’ll be responsible for executing various simulation projects and supporting the logistics team in developing models and assessments to ensure future capacity requirements are evaluated and validated against the necessary service standards. Proficiency in tools such as AutoMod, FlexSim, Plant Simulation, or other BHS/MHS simulation tools is expected.
• You’ll develop modelling assumptions, create and refine models, validate outputs, and visualize simulations (where applicable). You’ll also deliver comprehensive simulation analyses that clearly convey findings and recommended requirements from capacity studies.
• You’ll perform extensive data analysis on large datasets to identify long-term trends, segment data across multiple dimensions, and present insights through clear and impactful visualizations. Knowledge of analytical tools and programming languages is a strong advantage.
• You’ll collaborate with software providers to address technical limitations in existing or future tools, and develop survey specifications where data gaps exist to support modelling assumptions.
  
  

What You Bring

• You'll have a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, with 5–7 years of relevant experience. A master’s degree in Operational Research/ Engineering, Airport/Transport Planning, or Simulation Modelling is highly desirable.
• You'll have prior experience in BHS/MHS simulation and data analytics.
• You'll be familiar with applicable engineering systems such as LV/MV electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, special systems, and instrumentation & control.
