Senior Analytics Specialist

To support the Strategic Delivery & Forecasting team in tracking KPI performance and trends to provide timely, accurate updates through the early identification of gaps & risks to Budget & Forecast to enable mitigation plans to be developed. This role requires aviation and commercial acumen, as well as strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

Accountabilities

• Support the development & execution of Passenger Revenue Forecasts & target setting (including annual Passenger Revenue Budget)
• Analyse key drivers of variances to Budget, prior year performance and recent trends to identify revenue risks early
• Produce content for the Weekly Revenue Commercial Meeting & Committee, preparing insights on performance for senior management
• Assist with ad-hoc analysis & support monthly dashboard creation as needed
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or Business Administration
• 3 years working experience in a complex numerate and analytical environment, experience within airline industry preferred
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and query tools including at least 2 of; SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with solid experience in business analysis
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
