Senior BIM Draughtsman (Hvac)

To lead and execute the preparation of detailed HVAC BIM models and coordinated shop drawings in line with project specifications, authority requirements, and company BIM standards. The Senior BIM Draughtsman (HVAC) plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, coordination, and constructability of HVAC systems throughout design and construction stages.

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit MEP and related BIM tools.

• Prepare and update coordinated shop drawings, sections, and details based on project specifications and BIM models.

• Coordinate HVAC models with plumbing, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.

• Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards and regulations (e.g., DM, ADDC, DCD, and relevant municipalities).

• Support BIM coordination meetings by providing accurate model updates and resolving technical issues.

• Guide and supervise junior draughtsmen to maintain high-quality drawing and modeling output.

• Collaborate with HVAC engineers and site teams to address design and installation requirements.

• Maintain all drawings and model documentation in line with company BIM protocols and version control procedures.

• Generate as-built drawings and models upon project completion.

• Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs and drawings according to project milestones and deadlines.

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or AutoCAD/BIM Design.

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in HVAC drafting, including at least 3–5 years using Revit MEP in the UAE or GCC.

• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

• Sound understanding of HVAC design concepts, ductwork layouts, and air distribution systems.

• Thorough knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements for HVAC systems.

• Experience in MEP coordination and clash detection workflows.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
