About The Role

As a Senior Business Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role within the Central Finance team, providing key support to the relevant stakeholders. This position involves close collaboration with various business units to analyze financial data, understand performance trends, and offer actionable insights. You'll be instrumental in planning, budgeting & forecasting, along with identifying and addressing financial performance variances. The candidate will also be responsible for driving automation of weekly/monthly performance dashboards along with improving the overall accuracy of external and management reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Be a partner to the business across financial and commercial decisions.
  • Prepare and automate daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards / reports.
  • Analyze business performance and report any significant variances.
  • Recommend operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Build & maintain annual/quarterly/monthly budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct data analytics for ad hoc business cases and deep dives into operational and financial results.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Redash, and SQL to create insightful reports that support business decisions.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees like CFA are preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or related areas within the startup/E-commerce/Tech ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using BI and reporting tools.
  • Excellent quantitative skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • A high level of commercial acumen and business understanding.
  • Strong drive to learn and grow.
  • High ownership and proactiveness.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Redash and SQL.
