Senior Codification Officer

About the Role:

Are you ready to play a critical role in supporting the operation and maintenance of advanced defense products?

At Halcon, a leading defense technology company, we're looking for a skilled Codification Officer to join our Configuration Management team. In this role, you will manage the planning, development, and execution of documentation and data required for the codification of materials and equipment across all Halcon products.

Your work will ensure our data integrity, support engineering and logistics teams, and contribute directly to national defense capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute codification tasks aligned with business objectives
• Develop and maintain codification task plans and data management approaches
• Supervise and verify codification work performed by team members
• Manage and ensure compliance with material master data standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Logistics, and Support teams
• Support the resolution of codification issues with internal and alliance partners
• Provide detailed reports, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements
  
  

What You Bring

Experience & Education:

• Minimum:
• 9+ years of hands-on experience in cataloging and codification operations
• High School Diploma with a National Technical N-Diploma (N4–N6)
• Preferred:
• 5+ years in an Aerospace or Defense environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  

Functional Skills:

• Specialist-level knowledge of cataloguing operations & metadata services
• Deep understanding of Defence Product Lifecycle Management
• Familiarity with NATO Codification System (NCS) and H6 Manual
• Strong grasp of defense supply data requirements
