Overview Of The Role
As a Senior Communications Manager for the Retail Division, you will lead the division's full communications agenda, aligning strategic messaging with both group objectives and retail leadership's vision. You will be responsible for developing integrated communications strategies, enhancing the Retail division's profile internally and externally, and positioning the Retail President effectively. This role involves a combination of strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring consistent and powerful communication across all platforms. What You Will Do
General
- Serve as the lead communications partner for the Retail Division, working closely with the Retail President and leadership team.
- Lead division-wide internal communications, ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and connected to the business strategy while working closely with HR and people engagement teams.
- Drive executive communications for the Retail President and senior leaders, including speeches, townhalls, thought leadership, and media visibility.
- Develop and implement integrated communications strategies across media, digital, events, internal platforms, and social media to build reputation and support growth.
- Partner with retail brand communications teams and global partners to ensure alignment with group standards while respecting brand individuality.
- Oversee high-impact campaigns, launches, and events that position Retail as an industry leader and employer of choice.
- Manage agency partners and vendors to deliver best-in-class communications outputs.
- Provide strategic counsel to executives on issues management, stakeholder engagement, and reputation.
- Establish measurement frameworks to track performance, sentiment, and ROI.
- Division-wide communications planning and execution
- Executive visibility and stakeholder advisory
- Internal communications and employee engagement
- Brand storytelling and campaign management
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in communications roles, ideally within Fortune 500 companies, top consultancies, or leading communications agencies.
- Strong experience in the retail or consumer-facing industry is highly desirable.
- Native-level English with exceptional writing skills; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Proactive and hands-on with strong initiative and high emotional intelligence.
