WSP Middle East are currently seeking to recruit an experienced consultant with a background in waste management strategy development. WSP welcomes applications for part time and flexible working and would be happy to discuss potential options with you as part of your application.

WSP is seeking a Technical Senior Consultant/Manager specialized in wastewater and sludge management (wider waste experience appreciated). The ideal candidate will possess extensive consultancy experience in this sector and be responsible for technical project delivery and developing technical bids.

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or UAE, with projects across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Lead the technical aspects of waste and wastewater/sludge management projects.
• Contribute to the development and submission of technical proposals and bids.
• Present technical subjects clearly and concisely to clients.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.
• Engage in strategy development and KPI setting at municipal or national levels.
• Conduct strategic research and feasibility studies in waste and wastewater/sludge management.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• 10-15 years of experience in the (waste and) wastewater/sludge management sectors, including:
• Design of wastewater infrastructure.
• Design of sludge management and treatment infrastructure.
• Advisory on transactions for wastewater and sludge management infrastructure projects.
• Hazardous sludge management solutions.
• Strong proficiency in proposal writing and business development.
• Expertise in a broad spectrum of waste and wastewater/sludge management projects.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines and budget constraints.
• Well-versed in international best practices and guidelines in the field.
  
  

Application Note: Preference will be given to candidates residing in KSA or UAE and fluent in both Arabic and English.
