The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong focus on machine learning and cloud-based solution development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and solutions on cloud platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, cloud infrastructure, and the ability to work on complex data science projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Lead end-to-end machine learning projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models through rigorous testing and validation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and cloud technologies and apply them to solve complex business problems.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• Master/PhD in Computer Science/ Machine learning or related field with more than 7 years of industry experience
• Strong experience in machine learning and data science, with a focus on developing and deploying models on cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also need

• Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning model deployment.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with data engineering and ETL processes.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and their applications.
• Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
