We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi.

Role Overview

As a Senior Design Electrical Engineer, you will lead the electrical design scope across a variety of infrastructure, buildings, and transport projects. You will provide technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and ensure delivery excellence in compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, earthing, and lightning protection.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Conduct electrical calculations: load analysis, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, and cable sizing.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, UAE Fire Code, and other authority requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Supervise junior engineers and ensure adherence to delivery standards and procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve design challenges using industry best practices.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure repeat business through excellent service and delivery.
• May be responsible for smaller or routine projects as Project Manager.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8+years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority requirements and international codes.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
