Senior European Power Analyst

Our Power and Gas trading desk is dedicated to optimising trading strategies and risk management within the European power markets. Working within our dynamic team, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of analytical models that drive commercial decision-making and support our trading activities.

What role will you play?

As a European Power Analyst, you will spearhead power modelling efforts, leveraging your extensive expertise in power markets and model development. You will build and maintain advanced analytical models used for trading and risk analysis, and lead a team of power analysts and developers. Your role involves close collaboration with power and gas traders to generate actionable insights, enhance model robustness, and align with trading strategies in a dynamic market environment.

What You Offer

• 8 years of deep expertise in power markets with hands-on model development experience
• Strong coding skills and the ability to independently build and maintain advanced analytical models
• Proven leadership abilities to oversee and mentor a small team of power analysts and developers
• Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with power and gas traders
