Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive –Accounts to manage the end-to-end accounts payable process. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate processing of vendor invoices, timely payments, and reconciliation of accounts. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties & Responsibility:

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, including domestic and international remittances.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure periodic reviews and updates.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for invoice clarifications and approvals.
• Prepare and process payment runs (weekly/monthly) and manage bank transactions related to AP.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of vendor accounts and AP sub-ledger to general ledger.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and provide reports as required.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarification.
• Continuously seek process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/CPA/CMA qualification is a plus.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within the e-commerce or retail sector.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including financial modeling.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and payment gateway reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
• Knowledge of the e-commerce ecosystem, including marketplace dynamics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
