What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Finance Manager, with a passion for sports, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Sport360X. This role will include managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

You will ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards and provide leadership in the financial planning and management of the organization.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include The Following

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts. Provide variance analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the financial stability of the organization. Develop cash flow projections and implement strategies to optimize liquidity.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Manage compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits and tax filings. Implement recommendations from audits and manage risk appropriately.
• Collaborate with the executive team to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and new business opportunities.
  
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• You thrive in a dynamic startup environment, where agility, proactivity, and hands-on execution are key.
• You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; and preferably are CPA or CMA qualified.
• You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within the media or sports industry.
• You have a strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
• You possess excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• You have strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
