Job Description

Your role:

• Development from first principles of robust, reproducible, creative and innovative flavors across a broad range of flavor types aligned with business needs (sensory, costs, regulation, innovation)
• Building up our flavour creation capabilities in Middle East and North Africa to deliver on our business growth strategies for the region
• Support with innovation and flawless execution of projects & beverage initiatives for Global Key and Enterprise accounts
• Supporting with flavor creation expertise the CD&D Portfolio Focus Team, Key Accounts, Top projects, Key initiatives, Agile development, Innovation and Knowledge Management
• Mentorship of the EMEA trainee Flavorists
• Support the beverage portfolio teams to identify and fill gaps to build a dynamic and successful portfolio for the Middle East and North Africa Beverage, Sweet and Dairy categories
• Support global raw material harmonization
• Support of Sales and Marketing activities with CD&D expertise and participate in customer visits
• Work closely together with CD&D, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing and Operations
• Participation in global platforms of excellence
• Continuous optimization of the creative process, work flows and tools – Develop jointly with production GCP (good creative practices) to optimize Flavor Production and monitor implementation
• Identifying new beverage business opportunities using new technology and raw materials and align with S&T to develop innovative beverage solutions
  
  

Your profile:

• Science Degree or higher (chemistry /Food Science preferred)
• Completed training at a recognized flavor school (e.g. ISIPCA), in an international flavor house or at the ADM Academy
• At least 10 years flavorist experience, post training.
• Full working knowledge of all flavor raw materials, flavor chemistry, flavor creation & composition
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and delivery technologies
• Communication – The position requires well developed communication skills, able to communicate at all levels and good presentation skills
• Very good knowledge of English
• Highly developed project management skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft office.
