Senior Foreman - Material Controller

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Proactive co-ordination with the requestor for all transport needs.
• Moving equipment and material.
• Assist Fabrication supervisor / senior foreman in planning of transport related activities.
• Prepare material delivery forms and maintain records.
• To arrange material delivery to Hull Treatment Dept. for blasting and painting as per the sequence provided
• Preparation of Material identification tags.
• Work request preparation for Crane, blasting, painting and Galvanizing.
• Supports and A frame maintenance. Support fabrication as per new standard.
• Arrange to clear off cuts materials from Workshop.
• Crane and commetto arrangement for panels and block lifting and transportation.
• Controlling Start/Stop time of reporting employees during meal break time, through the use of existing T-card System.
• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
  
  

Qualification /Experiences / Skills

• Thorough knowledge in various types steel works and steel structures erection/lifting procedure.
• Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
• Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience as Foreman or Lead position in New Building Shipyard or Offshore industry
