Project Overview

Bechtel is pursuing a significant new award of work in Egypt. The Project will cover the development of luxurious residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, tourism amenities, and economic zones. If successful, Bechtel’s contract for the delivery of this project will be for project management and construction management services.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the coordination and integration of multidisciplinary systems, stakeholders, and delivery packages across complex infrastructure programs. This role ensures seamless communication, technical alignment, and risk mitigation across interfaces to support successful project execution.

In this role, you will lead a team of systems engineering personnel, estimate project staffing needs, and schedule and assign work. You will prepare estimates and work plans and manage implementation and performance reporting. Your oversight and expertise will ensure systems engineering work is completed according to scope, schedule, and budget and is compliant with Bechtel and client requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop and implement interface and integration strategies across all project phases.
• Plan the staffing needs to enure seemless inteface and integration management
• Identify, document, and manage technical and operational interfaces between disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead interface coordination meetings and workshops to resolve conflicts and align deliverables.
• Ensure integration of design, construction, and operational requirements across packages.
• Monitor interface risks and develop mitigation plans to avoid delays or scope gaps.
• Maintain interface registers and integration dashboards to track progress and dependencies.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment.
• Support change management processes and assess impact of design or schedule changes on interfaces.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on interface status, risks, and resolution strategies.
  
  

Education And Experience Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15-20 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience managing interfaces across civil, structural, MEP, ICT, and operational systems.
• Familiarity with systems engineering, BIM, and digital collaboration platforms.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
