Senior Investment professional

Job Description

We’re partnering with a leading sovereign wealth fund to find a highly analytical and commercially astute Senior Investment professional for Board/CEO Support (mid-senior level) with a strong background in consulting or private equity.

• Manage portfolio companies by reviewing and summarizing their performance regularly.
• Support the Chief in key decisions on management presentations, new investments, M&As, divestments, restructuring, Capex, and Opex optimization.
• Prepare and update quarterly, mid-annual, and annual financial reports and board packs.
• Collaborate with the Chief to review, analyze, and summarize management presentations, performance reports, financial statements, and investment briefs for senior leadership.
• Create debriefing documents and business presentations.
• Conduct due diligence and investment analysis on proposals received.
• Identify and assess key risks in companies and investments, and report findings to the Chief.
• Participate in end-to-end deal processes, including due diligence, financial modeling, and legal and tax structuring.
• Perform valuation analyses to assess investment opportunities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the private equity space, preferably with top consulting firms or sovereign wealth funds (SWFs).
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• CFA certification is a plus.
• Expert in reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing financial statements.
• Experience in reviewing and summarizing investment committee (IC) memos in presentations and written memos.
• Develop IC presentations and memos.
• Review and summarize board packs.
