About Our Client

Our client, a prestigious multi-asset investor, is seeking a proactive and experienced Learning & Development Specialist to join their Human Resources team. The firm boast a rich history and diversified portfolio, with an impressive range of assets. This role, based in Abu Dhabi, offers an exciting opportunity to manage and execute technical training and talent development programmes, contributing to the firm's commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.

What the job involves

  • Oversee the implementation of the annual technical training plan
  • Coordinate and manage orientation programs for Emirati hires and internship programs
  • Support communication plans and assist in delivering annual processes and L&D-related projects
  • Conduct research and data analysis to contribute to the annual training needs analysis and help develop a functional training budget
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to customise in-house training programs and speaker sessions
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors, including maintaining a preferred supplier list in coordination with the Talent Management team
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, providing insights to improve training initiatives
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external learning programs, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery
  • Contribute to HR projects and assist with administrative tasks, including composing and editing L&D-related communications and documentation

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience of designing and implementing L&D policy and programmes within financial services
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the Instructional System Design theory and practice
  • Comfortable working with a high level of autonomy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships across teams
  • Ability to gather financial and non-financial data, compile information and produce reports.
