Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join one of our clients to provide high-level legal advice and transactional support to their high performing legal team. The role focuses on strategic projects, asset management, and complex commercial transactions within the downstream sector, both in the UAE and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on commercial, corporate, and operational matters related to downstream assets and projects.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transactional and project-related agreements.
* Manage external counsel and ensure alignment with legal, compliance, and governance frameworks.
* Support business growth initiatives, risk management, and dispute resolution.
* Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and development of junior legal team members.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Law; qualified in a common or civil law jurisdiction.
* Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in transactional legal work, ideally within a major international law firm or large in-house legal team.
* Strong background in oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure sectors preferred.
