About The Role

AIQ is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and maintain robust data pipelines, integrate and optimize machine learning algorithms, and contribute to the development of high-performance APIs and data management systems. The role involves close collaboration with data science and engineering teams to solve technical challenges, enhance database scalability, and ensure efficient, high-quality data workflows that support AI-driven solutions for the energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality data outputs in data storage, data extraction and data integration activities within AIQ.
• Develop and maintain data management systems and ensure an optimized data workflow, data pipeline and data storage in AIQ.
• Collaborate with data science teams to receive algorithms, integrate them and help optimize algorithms used in product solutions and services.
• Contribute to API creation to access, transform and deliver analytical data to key technology stakeholders at a consistently high performance.
• Design and implement approaches to improve database performance, capacity and scalability in line with AIQ’s needs.
• Brainstorm on technical challenges faced by data science and software engineering teams, and enable support to them on the completion of daily tasks and outputs.
• Contribute to developing standards, tools, and governance for capturing, modeling, and delivering data within AIQ to have quality data management practices within AIQ.
• Produce on-going data engineering work and provide suggestions to improve the efficiency and quality of outputs produced.
• Ensure self-development to have the rights skills to complete product / project work at a highquality standard in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in computer science, Computer Engineering or any related field
  
  
  

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 8+ years of experience required
• Experience in the Oil and Gas or Energy Industry (preferred)
• Proficient communication skills
• Ability to proactively prioritize workloads, working both independently and as a team player
• Advanced knowledge in modern programming languages, and data engineering practices
• Advanced knowledge of databases, application security
