Job Purpose

Provide maintenance work instructions and work packages in accordance with maintenance standards and also assist with material master information when required.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Maintenance PM Program Delivery
Responsibilities And Accountabilities:
- Prepare and develop model work orders in a timely manner and with quality to achieve the highest level of safety and reliability.
- Develop maintenance work instructions and provide enhancements to existing work instructions, procedures or equipment information when necessary, to ensure quality work products.
- Conduct field walk downs to plan and prepare maintenance 1:1 work orders and identify all certifications and support operations on SAP including post maintenance test requirements in conjunction with other support departments.
- Support efforts to implement and enhance relevant Operations Management System (OMS) modules related to Maintenance Programs to improve implementation success.
- Assist in preparing for and collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA), Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) audit and World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO), Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Integrated Demonstration of Readiness (IDOR) and pre-start up peer reviews to ensure a successful result.
Responsibilities And Accountabilities:
- Create PMs and Technical Specification Surveillances, initial maintenance work packages using vendor manuals, industry procedures or procedures supplied by other experts as required by the functions in line with internationally accepted standards.
- Identify Clearance, spares, program, equipment and Certification requirements for maintenance activities.
- Develop Human Factored Technical work instructions to support execution of event free maintenance.
- Assist and develop maintenance specific model work instructions and model work orders
- Verify and correctly link the Bill of Materials (BOM) to specific functional locations (FLOCs) and components.
- Align requirements in the Maintenance Manual with requirements in the maintenance procedures.
- Ensure statutory requirements, as laid out in the Technical Specifications and FSAR, are met through the development and implementation of the PM Program.
- Ensure that there are alignment of all the surveillance and statutory requirements of Operations, Radiation Protection, Chemistry, Fire Protections, etc. with Maintenance and ensure that work duplication are avoided.
- Assist the PM contractor to expedite the PM Program development where required.
Assist with Field Walk downs and Information Gathering
Responsibilities And Accountabilities:
- Coach Plant Maintenance staff on correct work package preparation, compilation, execution, history recording and close out.
- Collect and verify plant information to develop orders and schedules.
- Develop, compile and update procedures as required.
- Perform plant system walk downs and component verification.
- Verification and validation of work packages as required and defined in Nawah procedures. This task will include plant walk downs and require physical fitness to complete.
Responsibilities And Accountabilities:
- Support outage and/or the emergency response organization, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require weekend/shift work/off hours support.
- Perform outage specific roles as part of the Outage Maintenance Services Organization (OMS) assigned by the OMS Director.
- Manage and administer investigations into Corrective Action Program issues assigned to the Outage Maintenance Services Team.
- Provide in-field supervision and oversight as it relates to specific programs and outage scopes.
- Ensure that vendors adhere to maintenance standards and expectations during outages.
- Assist with outage work order development and paperwork management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
Experience
5 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred discipline - I&C Instrumentation & Control discipline or Electrical.
- Understanding of Conduct of Maintenance and Maintenance Fundamentals
- Maintenance leadership/supervisory role experience
- General requirements of ISO17025 – International standard for testing and calibration laboratories
- Maintenance Governance and Oversight
- Knowledge of Markaz
- Procedure writing/updates
- Report writing essential (e.g. write self-assessments reports)
- Knowledge of Corrective Action Program (Action Requests, Observation Program, Self Assessments, Benchmarking)
- Knowledge of external oversight organizations (WANO/INPO, FANR, NSRB, IAEA)
