Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- Plan, organize, optimize and provide cost effective maintenance service to meet or exceed the equipment availability, performance and reliability requirements of customer.
- Monitor, review and report the actual equipment performance/expenditure to ensure that the activities are managed within the defined budget parameters and agreed key performance indicators are attained.
- Ensure the adherence to appropriate work practices, schedules, policies, standards, risk assessments and procedures to deliver the quality service to the satisfaction/pleasure of the customers at right price and at right time.
- Manage requirements of spares, tools, or maintenance supplies to ensure the availability of the required material/ services of right quality at right time with minimum stock in the warehouse/ workshop.
- Manage Department budget/ equipment OPEX/ /CAPEX projects/ define scope/ and support with technical evaluation in different disciplined Mechanical/ Electrical/instrumentation.
- Recommend technical and engineering solutions for critical problems within all Ports.
- Develop equipment specifications, review technical tender documents, coordinate and manage the project with the stakeholders, project meetings and final acceptance handover of the equipment.
- Comply with the requirement of the Abu Dhabi Ports health and safety policies, processes, and procedures.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments and utilize information to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Assess risks in equipment and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential liabilities.
