Senior Manager, Treasury

Objectives

Manage the opening and closing of DoF’s bank accounts in multiple currencies, in addition to supervising all operations related to opening/closing/modifying the authorized signatory of bank accounts for all government entities.

Essential Duties

• Contribute to the development of the department's strategy and ensure the alignment of strategic objectives with the broader objectives of the Department of Finance.
• Contribute to the development of the department's policies and procedures covering all areas of work, to ensure compliance with internal controls and to provide high-quality and cost-effective services.
• Manage opening and closing of DoF’s bank accounts with banks in various multiple currencies for the department and government entities and institutions, and managing checks.
• Supervise all operations and modifying authorized signatory for bank accounts for all government entities.
• Ensure that all revenue and other transactions are analyzed, followed up and recorded, and ensure that they are collected and credited to the Department's account.
• Supervise the bank accounts of government entities and perform settlements and bank reconciliations for them.
• Ensure coordination and communication with banks to follow-up on the bank accounts of government entities.
• Provide the necessary support to the line manager and perform any other related tasks assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• A specialized certificate in the field of the job such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
• Preferable to have 6 to 8 years of experience in related position/field.
