We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in Building Services to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering for building projects, particularly within the UAE market. This role offers an opportunity to work on prestigious projects, contributing to the growth and success of AtkinsRéalis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed calculations to establish HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system requirements.
• Designing mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for mechanical systems.
• Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated design delivery.
• Conducting site inspections to ensure quality of installations and adherence to design specifications.
• Providing technical support and guidance during construction and commissioning phases.
• Evaluating and selecting equipment and materials for mechanical systems.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting client expectations.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience of 10 -15 years in mechanical Engineering (Site Operations) for building services, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Previous experience working on Building projects in the UAE is essential.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and codes related to mechanical systems in buildings.
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to design challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
