- Audit the financial procedures and financial documents of the missions, verify the attached documents to ensure that they are correct from an accounting point of view, and ensure that they are entered into the financial accounting system under the procedures, policies, and accounting standards.
- Conduct capital expenditure (fixed assets) controls, follow up on petty cash advances, ensure that they are entered into the financial system, audit their disbursement procedures, and prepare related reports.
- Follow up and scrutinize financial settlements and tax collection procedures with state missions abroad that fall within the sector's geographical scope.
- Monitor and audit the implementation of diplomatic missions' payroll procedures for local employees that fall within the department's geographical area according to the approved policies.
- Monitoring and auditing all financial flows of the missions and all revenues, including consular revenues collected, ensuring that they are deposited in banks, performing reconciliations in the financial system, and submitting financial reports periodically.
- Participate in responding to the Audit Bureau's reports regarding the department under the approved principles.
- Identify and follow up on the claims of foreign entities payable by coordinating with representative missions abroad that fall within the geographical scope of the sector to ensure payment, inform the department of transfers, and prepare relevant reports.
- Monitor the bank accounts of representative missions outside the country that fall within the geographical scope of the department and conduct an unexpected inventory of the missions' financial covenants.
- Coordinate with the Consular Services Department and provide them with data and proposals to contribute to the development of programs aimed at developing revenues and preparing special reports.
- Save the banks' revenue reports and monthly e-Dirham reports sent by the Ministry of Finance in the shared file according to the policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports on mission expenses and submit proposals and studies to rationalize spending according to the approved principles.
- Perform any tasks requested by the direct supervisor related to the nature of the work.
- Provide support and assistance to other organizational units in the Ministry on job-related matters.
- Adapt and participate in any programs or changes in the Ministry, including strategic and operational initiatives and performance improvement programs, and undertake any related work arising from these changes as an integral part of the job description and employment contract.
- Contribute to the implementation and delivery of any activities as necessary to ensure business continuity in the absence of other colleagues.

- Provide creative ideas that will improve the work environment and optimize procedures.
