Senior Officer - Strategy Implementation - SU

Job Description

Implementation and tracking of Plan Maritime and internal strategic plan of Abu Dhabi Maritime. Close co-ordination with Executive Office / DMT/stakeholders to ensure implementation of strategic plans. Act as first point of contact and liaison for Abu Dhabi Plan Maritime and ensure implementation of integrated Maritime strategy for Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with the Strategy Manager and Specialists to ensure alignment with the Maritime 2030 plan and Integrated Maritime Strategy implementation per required objectives.
  
  

Execution Oversight:

• Monitor the progress of various strategic initiatives and provide regular updates to the team, business score cards, and KPIs.
  
  

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

• Identify potential roadblocks and challenges in implementation and propose effective solutions timely.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Foster relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and garner support for strategic objectives in plan maritime management actions.
  
  

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of relevant data to inform decision-making and track performance against strategic goals.
  
  

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing progress and outcomes, record keeping of strategy department.
  
  

 Coordinate with Corporate strategy division at AD Ports to align on strategic objectives of AD Ports and AD Maritime.

 Research future directions for the AD Maritime.

 Perform other similar or related activities as they arise and as directed by the Manager Sector Strategy

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Maritime studies, Business Administration, Public Policy, Strategic Planning or equivalent
