We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our digital banking team in the UAE. The role goes beyond transactional processing, it requires end-to-end ownership, speed of execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure critical vendors and contracts are onboarded on time and in full compliance with policy.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • End-to-End Procurement Execution

Drive the full procurement cycle (sourcing, RFx, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, onboarding).

Prioritize speed and accuracy in processing critical vendors and contracts.

  • Commercial Acumen

Actively evaluate proposals with a commercial lens, balancing cost, quality, and risk.

Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making and ensure value delivery.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership

Partner closely with Marketing, HR, Operations, and Finance to align procurement with business needs.

Translate requirements into procurement strategies that support growth and innovation.

  • Vendor & Contract Management

Manage vendor relationships and monitor SLAs to drive accountability.

Escalate issues quickly and resolve with minimal disruption to business timelines.

  • Governance & Compliance

Ensure adherence to procurement policy and CBUAE outsourcing, risk, and third-party guidelines.

Support audits, internal reviews, and risk assessments with accurate documentation.

  • Process Improvement

Contribute to building category playbooks, TAT standards, and streamlined workflows.

Share insights on bottlenecks and suggest solutions to continuously improve procurement efficiency

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (MBA or professional certifications like CIPS is a plus).
  • 5–7 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a digital bank, startup, fintech in the UAE.
  • Preferred to have understanding of banking products, services, and marketing category sourcing (e.g., digital media, creative agencies, events).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead procurement initiatives across functional areas.
  • Ensure all deadlines and business requirements are met in a timely manner.
