Position Summary:
Zutari is seeking a highly qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in the UAE, specifically Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing cost estimates, preparing tender documents, and managing pre-contract activities for diverse infrastructure projects.

Position Summary:
Zutari is seeking a highly qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in the UAE, specifically Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing cost estimates, preparing tender documents, and managing pre-contract activities for diverse infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Contractual Knowledge: Understand and implement the contractual requirements of major clients in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Collaboration with Design Teams: Work closely with the design team during each phase of project development to ensure accurate costing and adherence to specifications.
- Project Estimation: Provide comprehensive cost estimates during each development phase or as per client requirements.
- Tender BOQ & Engineer's Estimate: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and engineer's estimates for tender submissions.
- Tender Queries: Address and resolve tender queries in alignment with contract requirements.
- Pre-Contract Meetings: Attend and participate in joint meetings with clients and bidders during the pre-contract stage to ensure smooth project execution.
- Database Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database for estimations, considering a wide range of project types, including:
- Project Services
- Structures
- Underpasses
- Marine projects
- Recreational projects
- Landscaping
- Mechanical Pump Stations
- Miscellaneous building works
- District Cooling
- Cladding projects
- Invoicing: Bill design and supervision invoices, liaise with clients to ensure timely release of payments, and address any issues that arise in the invoicing process.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of consultancy experience in the UAE.
- Strong experience in Abu Dhabi is required.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and local regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in using estimation and quantity surveying software tools.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in cost estimation and tender preparation.
- Master’s degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
- RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) qualification preferred.
