Senior Robotic Process Automation Developer

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions within the group, ensuring timely completion and smooth solutions deployment. Works closely with the Technical Product Manager, Business stakeholders, and Solution Architects to review and interpret business requirements, identify the most appropriate solutions, assess complexity, and translate them into RPA solutions. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members, aligning with the Architectural strategy, design, and implementation of best practices, ensuring the solutions are implemented within the estimates and desired quality.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the planning, definition, and high-level design of the RPA solution and exploration of solution alternatives. Conduct technical feasibility of the new initiatives, estimate the effort, and pass the requirements to developers for development.
• Define the scope of RPA projects and provide technical consultancy and guidance to the RPA team working on multiple projects. Acts as a lead technical member in the Project team, delivering the work packages assigned.
• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for the RPA COE team, adhering to standard templates and documentation guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, the detailed design, configuration, impact analysis, support procedures, operation manuals, and coding best practices.
• Collaborate with the team in discovering, implementing, and adopting the RPA bots within the Emirates Group across various business units.
• Work with platform engineers to manage the Control Room, including platform upgrades and fixes. Manage and configure other Automation A360 products such as Bot Insights, AARI, etc.
• Review the developers? code to ensure robust design, high quality, and compliance with corporate standards and RPA best practices.
• Review and validate the Business Design Documents created by the developers to ensure efficient, maintainable, and comprehensive design.
• Develop reusable components using Python and other scripting languages to accelerate RPA Bot development.
• Facilitate continuous improvement sessions with other developers to ensure knowledge sharing, discuss lessons learned, and brainstorm ideas for faster delivery.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, with 8 + years of experience in Information Technology or similar.
• SAFe or Agile Scrum Master certification is preferred.
• 2 years of experience with Automation Anywhere Platform - Minimum 1 year of experience working with a data extraction tool such as IQ Bot.
  
  

Knowledge/skills: -

• Extensive experience in designing and delivering RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere or UiPath.
• Experience in Software Development, primarily in RPA and Scripting technologies.
• Experience using API services (both SOAP and REST).
• Experience in deployment of RPA solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• MS SQL Database skills to manage RPA implementations.
• Knowledge and understanding of business process automation and business process re-engineering tools are desirable.
• Exposure to developing Automation Anywhere packages using JAVA is an added advantage.
