What Will You Be Doing
The role focuses on identifying and executing on opportunities to sell assets from our Rights.
The Role’s Key Components Are
- Meet and exceed sales targets for given time periods
- Support the wider Rights team by developing a pipeline of leads from global and local brands who are interested in our various assets
- Establish and develop relationships with key decision makers / C-suite executives
- Liaise with central sales support team for all sales process requirements
- Research & Insights
- Customised narratives
- Presentation and sales collateral creation
- Operational reporting and status tracking
- Liaise with Head of EMEA Sales (for example) to understand business priorities, revenue targets, timescales, risks and mitigating strategies
- Define where these revenues are most likely to come from (geographies, sectors, companies)
- Work with sales support team to plan out specific go-to-market approaches and operational support requirements
- Diligently and professionally manage all external interactions with prospective partners throughout the end-to-end process
- Support industrialisation of the sales process to ensure operational efficiency e.g. reporting via Salesforce
- Extend and enhance network and sector positioning to maximise future opportunities for the business
- Keep abreast of developments in the sports sponsorship sector and your industry vertical e.g. FMCG
- A network of contacts across the Middle East within marketing/ brand/ sponsorship divisions
- In-depth understanding of sports partnership / sponsorship industry dynamics, across geographies, and from multiple perspectives (rights holders, brands)
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of identifying, prospecting and closing commercial deals in the world of sports & entertainment
- Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally
- Team player with a strong sense of collective responsibility
- Deadline-driven and achievement focused
- Excellent communication, diplomacy and negotiating skills
- At least 3-4 years experience within a commercial sales role
