About The Job

GAC is on the lookout for an experienced Senior SCALE WMS Specialist with knowledge of configuring and optimising Manhattan SCALE WMS to meet business and operational requirements. This role involves leading and conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members to ensure high-quality, efficient and maintainable code. The successful candidate will oversee testing/rollout to ensure seamless system implementation/updates and collaborate with external vendors/internal support teams to manage system patches, enhancements and ongoing system maintenance. Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• System Configuration / Development
• Configure Manhattan SCALE WMS to align with GAC's operational requirements, with a particular focus on third-party logistics (3PL) business processes.
• Conduct technical analysis for the migration of existing customers from GAC's legacy WMS to Manhattan SCALE WMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-performance WMS solutions.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented custom code, including Exit Points, to extend WMS functionality.
• Quality Deliverables
• Analyse and resolve issues related to WMS processes, performance, and data integrity, ensuring optimal system functionality.
• Actively participate in integration and system testing phases, identifying and addressing issues early in the development cycle to ensure smooth deployment.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by collaborating with end-users and stakeholders to validate system functionality and gather feedback.
• Maintenance and Support
• Provide expert-level (L3) support for Manhattan SCALE WMS to ensure the system meets operational needs and delivers optimal performance.
• Perform root cause analysis of system or process failures and implement corrective actions to resolve underlying issues
• Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of a knowledge base, documenting common issues and effective resolutions.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Manhattan SCALE WMS, including 3PL configurations.
• 7+ years in software development with strong object-oriented programming knowledge (C# or Java preferred).
• Hands-on experience on configuring Manhattan SCALE for high volume customers and complex scenarios
• Proficiency in SQL Server or other RDBMS; RESTful API development; Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working on Azure Cloud platforms will be considered a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
