Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Document Controller to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing our organization's documentation systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards.
- Implement and maintain document control systems and procedures
- Manage the receipt, distribution, and filing of project and operational documentation
- Ensure all documents are properly indexed, stored, and easily retrievable
- Coordinate with project teams to facilitate timely submission and approval of documents
- Perform regular quality checks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of document databases
- Generate reports on document status, revisions, and distribution
- Assist in training staff on document control procedures and best practices
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding document-related issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Continuously improve document control processes for enhanced efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in document control or related field
- Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of database management, filing, and archiving systems
- Familiarity with digital document management tools
- Basic understanding of project management principles
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
