Senior Solution Architect

Play a key role in shaping and implementing strategic digital transformation technology solutions for Core42 clients in government and industry verticals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and engineering, to design and deliver comprehensive architectures that address complex business challenges.

Day to Day Operations

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative and scalable technology solutions in the digital transformation, cloud computing, and cyber security domains.
• Gauge the business impact of technical choices, developing comprehensive solution architecture that aligns with clients' business objectives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution within defined timelines and budgets.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of technology platforms, tools, and vendors to support solution implementation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance analyses to validate architecture designs and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Provide technical expertise during all phases of the project, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Assess existing systems, infrastructure, and applications, identifying areas for improvement and recommending suitable upgrades & improvements.
• Be the subject matter expert on AI, digital transformation, cloud computing, and cyber security, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and constraints, and translate them into robust, efficient architecture designs.
• Guide project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, industry standards, and quality assurance.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in the AI, cloud computing, and cyber security domains.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating the value proposition of Core42’s solutions and conducting solution presentations and demonstrations.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the company's solution architecture frameworks, methodologies, and reusable assets.
• Lead the design and implementation of systems for large interconnected networks with large data requirements.
• Liaise with various teams to solve client challenges efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure design and capacity planning.
• Design, modify and test technical architecture.
• Update stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets.
• Ensure that all documentation is updated and maintained for easy access.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Industry certification in one or more of the following: C++, Java, SQL, Python, MCSE, CCNP, CCSA, CISA, CA, CCSP, ISC, ITIL, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of coding languages, operating systems and databases
• Strong understanding of agile software development frameworks, operational risk management, and other IT best practices.
  
  

Minimum Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in the IT industry as a Solutions Architect
• Experience with Internet of Things, Cloud data services (Azure, Google IoT)
• First-hand knowledge of distributed resource scheduling, deployment automation and distributed service management
