Overview

Ensure highly accurate and proofed English content for media releases/announcement, corporate websites, social media, corporate reporting and other marketing platforms through content management and optimization via research and monitoring content metrics. Centrally manage corporate messaging and content development to drive consistency and quality control the accuracy of English language, working closely with team members across the Corporate Communications Department and relevant Departments to ensure language and content from the business is of the highest standards.

Primary duties and responsibilities include understanding the requirements of various teams and convey the corporate key messages adequately and appropriately through highly accurate use of the English language; support teams by providing error-free media-worthy English material; interact with team members and support them in reviewing, editing and proofing English content across various communication channels.

Responsibilities

Content Development Support

  • Develop and maintain the corporate message house, covering positioning, narrative pillars, core messages and proof points.
  • Develop style guides and content direction to improve copy, making corrections to grammatical errors and punctuation mistakes, and formatting throughout a piece of content.
  • Develop content, review, edit and proof press releases, features, white papers and thought leadership pieces upon request.
  • Review, edit and proof financial communication activities and investor materials, including financial statements, investor emails, corporate disclosures, Annual Reports, Corporate Governance and ESG Reports, presentations, factsheets, Q&As, management scripts.
  • Provide key management with high quality edited English content including media interviews’ Q&As, biographies, conference/event speaking notes/talking points.
  • Review, edit and proof email communications and mailers for internal and external communications.
  • Draft, edit and proof corporate letters and materials to key stakeholders upon request.
  • Maintain content library of information, messages, frequently asked questions documents, case studies, award entries calendar, records of progress, and timescales; update the team leadership accordingly.
  • Work with Technical, Commercial and Marketing teams to develop case studies, white papers, brochures, factsheets, documents/presentations using marketing resource materials such as data slides, photographs, as well as external market/research/ industry reports
  • Develop content for high-level correspondence by the management.
  • Support in the content development and updating of Corporate and Critical Communication policies, reviewing, editing, and proofing English content.


Digital Content

  • Developing SEO-optimized content for corporate websites and other public-facing digital assets including social media channels, continuously updating copy, reviewing, editing, and proofing English content, developing new webpage/microsite content ensuring highly accurate, grammatically correct English copy.
  • Build SEO keywords and glossary of terms to drive consistent use of corporate terminologies across the products and services.
  • Reviewing and proofing social media posts’ content and captions.
  • Developing, reviewing, and proofing video scripts including inspiring management speeches to promotional corporate, products and services content.
  • Develop content for internal and external newsletters, reviewing, editing, and proofing new content.
  • Develop content and provide support in reviewing, editing, and proofing English content across marketing initiatives, including BTL campaigns and other online outreach activities including webinars.


Internal Communications

  • Develop content for monthly newsletters, staff intranet, email notifications, corporate retreats, town halls, surveys etc.
  • Copywriting and proofing internal email communications and campaigns.
  • Develop talking points and messaging documents for in-house events, including corporate retreat and key speakers.


Awards

  • Research and identify opportunities for brand elevation.
  • Develop or curate high-quality award submissions in line with corporate, IR and ESG messaging guidelines.


Miscellaneous Content Development & Maintenance

  • Any other content which requires review, editing and proofing of English copy to provide highly accurate, grammatically correct, formatted copy

Natural ability to simplify technically complex content into engaging and memorable copy.

  • Copy Writing Skills
  • Strong ability to develop content (new and existing copy), review, edit and proof to deliver highly accurate and engaging copy for external and internal communications, and within the deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, with world-class editing and proofing skills.
  • Technology industry knowledge - strong ability to understand various business needs and simplify complex technical content to engage external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively understand Customers and Stakeholders needs to develop highly engaging content which resonates with the end consumer.
  • PR & Social Media
  • A solid understanding of press release and social media/digital content development to engage and inspire readers and viewers.
  • Highly proficient reviewing, editing, and proofing skills, and accurate English grammar skills to correct any errors.
  • Internal Communications & Engagement
  • Ability to engage and inspire employees through the power of the English language.
  • Ability to support Marketing team members through content writing, editing, and proofing.
  • Digital Communications
  • A good understanding of key words and SEO to develop strong digital content copy.
  • Ability to consult with media agency/creative agency where required.
  • Content Development
  • Standardizing all internal/external content messaging and development upholding the company brand reputation.
  • Maintaining content library of collateral and corporate message house for internal and multi-channel communications.
  • Presentation skills


Confident in presenting and communicating messages to individuals and groups with enthusiasm for the brand and/or product

Qualifications

  • Native English - exceptional English language and grammar skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications / media / journalism or relevant subject.
  • Minimum 7 years of copywriting experience.
  • Solid and proven experience in content creation, copywriting, editing and proofing skills.
