About the job:
This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s objectives by focusing on core pricing for multiple revenue streams, creating and testing a range of pricing strategies particularly for CT Flights, Hotels, and the ODIS API and driving revenue growth through the design and execution of online experiments.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute dynamic pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market trends

Conduct A/B testing and multivariate experiments to optimize pricing strategies

Analyze customer behavior, competitor pricing, and market trends to provide actionable insights for pricing decisions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pricing opportunities and implement testing frameworks

Use data analytics and modeling techniques to forecast the impact of different pricing strategies and guide decision-making
-
Create regular pricing reports using python to track key pricing metrics and performance indicators

Prototype ML/AI approaches for optimizing pricing strategies and collaborate with ML/AI team for implementation

Continuously iterate and refine pricing approaches based on experiment outcomes and data insights

Develop pricing dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies

Identify and assess pricing risks such as market volatility, customer response variability, or competitor pricing actions, and propose mitigation strategies

Determine and analyze the financial and operational risks associated with pricing changes, ensuring that pricing decisions do not negatively impact margins, brand reputation, or customer loyalty

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines related to pricing and pricing strategies, identifying and mitigating any potential legal risks associated with pricing models

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable format
Profile requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

5+ years of experience in pricing, experimentation and data analytics ideally within travel or tech-driven industry

Strong experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and statistical analysis

Proficiency in python, data analysis, and developing pricing models

Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and AI techniques applied to pricing strategies

Experience with data analysis tools and languages (SQL, Python, Spark)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
