Senior Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the structural design and analysis for engineering and construction projects.
• Prepare detailed structural designs, drawings, and specifications using CAD and structural analysis software.
• Perform structural calculations and analyses to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural systems into overall project designs.
• Review and approve structural designs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct site assessments, inspections, and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
• Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in structural engineering within the engineering and construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software and structural analysis tools (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
• Strong understanding of structural codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., AISC, ACI, IBC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
