Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy tailored to the construction industry, with a focus on sourcing top talent for both operational and executive roles.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and forecast future hiring needs, aligning recruitment plans with business objectives.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, from job description creation to offer negotiation, ensuring timely hiring while maintaining a strong candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent pipelines, with a focus on attracting UAE-based talent.
  • Design and manage recruitment campaigns targeting specialized construction roles, such as project managers, engineers, and other skilled professionals.
  • Oversee the implementation of recruitment tools and processes, ensuring they align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance on best practices, candidate assessment, and market trends.
  • Analyze and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, ensuring continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice within the construction industry.
  • Collaborate with HR teams on onboarding, retention strategies, and talent development initiatives.


Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Fluency in Arabic is a must.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of talent acquisition experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the construction industry within the UAE.
  • Proven track record of recruiting for a diverse range of roles within the construction sector, including executive, operational, and technical positions.
  • Familiarity with the UAE labor market, with established networks and connections within the construction and engineering sectors.
  • Experience working with family-owned businesses, preferably within large, diversified groups.
  • Strong understanding of UAE labor laws, visa processes, and government regulations relevant to hiring.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive initiatives that align with the company's business objectives.
