Description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent across all levels of Kempinski Corporate, Regional offices and key leader positions in our hotels. This role will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and will be responsible to manage the full recruitment cycle across functions and seniority level.

Key Responsibilities

Employer Market Position

  • Focus of Talent Acquisition Strategy to build Kempinski Employer Brand awareness and attraction
  • Build & deploy Employee Value Proposition and Recruitment Marketing Strategy
  • Annual strategic review of employer competitive positioning
  • Benefit enhancements

Talent Acquisition Resources

  • Develop an overall Talent Acquisition strategy that aligns to business goals and supports business growth
  • Design and implement sourcing and selection tools, policies, and processes, and engaging with the HR community as well as the corporate and regional offices to effectively embed them
  • Support the Corporate and Regional HR leaders in the internal and external sourcing and selection of key senior leadership and professional roles (Corporate, Regional, GM and ExCom/Head of Department level)
  • Drive global performance management and talent management and succession planning processes
  • Follow up on the development and mobility of internal talent, including effective management of promotions, transfers, cross-trainings and task force assignments
  • Support new hotel openings, leveraging direct search through social media, setting up a network of employee ambassadors for referrals, building an own internal and external talent database, as well as confirming preferred supplier partnerships
  • Utilise a variety of sourcing channels and recruitment tools to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for open positions, including but not limited to internal talent, job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals and establishment and engagement with the Kempinski Alumni

Campus Relations

  • Continue to expand school partnerships with focus on diversity
  • Enhance MIT program
  • Manage, participate and represent the brand on campus recruitment at key global hotel schools

Talent Acquisition Technology

  • Attract, source and manage the full recruitment cycle and candidate experience
  • Partner with Marketing team to redesign our Career website
  • Continue to work with HRIS team to enhance our recruitment platform Pinpoint
  • Review and enhance our current talent Acquisition Tech

Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Education

  • Relevant university degree, e.g. in business administration, HR management, psychology, Hotel management or tourism
  • A Master’s degree and/or a relevant professional accreditation would be a plus

Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in recruitment
  • Experience in the luxury hospitality or retail industry, ideally corporate/regional roles
  • Successful track record in managing best practice talent acquisition and internal mobility processes, having participated in the design and roll-out of new talent acquisition strategy adapted to the needs of a multinational organisation

Language

  • English: Proficiency in oral and written English is a must
  • Other languages would be a plus

Functional Competencies

  • Ability to implement robust processes for recruiting, identifying and developing talent, managing performance, and delivering an engaging employee experience
  • Ability to deliver a strategic HR agenda based on business objectives and competitive positioning
  • Experience with direct search / social media recruitment and effective online and offline employer marketing in multiple countries, being on top of recruiting market trends.
  • HR advisory capacity for senior Directors in matters relating to their teams and organisation
  • Understanding of local labor and immigration law and local policies, regulations, and market practices
  • Computer literacy (Excel/PowerPoint/Word), ideally including experience with HR information systems

  • Drive for Results: ability to manage projects, drive change, and handle multiple priorities, with a hands-on attitude and customer focus
  • Stakeholder relationship management and communication: effective at rolling out tools and communication processes in a decentralised multi-country organisation and building relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for hospitality operations and identification with the brand values of luxury services provider, being able to act as a brand ambassador
