Job Brief:

Our client in the financial brokerage industry is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Trade Support Officer – MT5 Administrator. The ideal candidate must possess solid technical knowledge of MT5 trading platforms, risk and compliance procedures, and operational support. You will be responsible for managing MT5 server environments, supporting internal stakeholders, and ensuring platform stability while maintaining regulatory compliance.


Job Responsibilities:

MT5 Administration:

  • Set up and configure MT5 trading servers (Live and Demo).
  • Manage MetaTrader 5 Manager and Administrator terminals.
  • Create, modify, and manage user groups, accounts, and permissions.
  • Configure symbols, instruments, spreads, swaps, and commissions.
  • Deploy plugins, gateway integrations, and liquidity provider bridges.
  • Monitor data feeds, price streams, and ensure server uptime with low latency.
  • Maintain logs and perform regular system backups.

Technical & Operational Support:

  • Provide first and second-level support for MT5-related issues.
  • Collaborate with IT/DevOps teams for infrastructure updates and system changes.
  • Troubleshoot latency, slippage, disconnections, and other platform errors.
  • Test new features, plugins, and integrations in staging environments.
  • Support internal teams with technical queries related to the MT5 platform.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Generate regulatory reports, trade logs, and audit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and risk management rules.
  • Assist with AML/KYC data retrieval and reporting.
  • Provide reporting support for clients, risk managers, and regulatory bodies.

Risk & Account Management:

  • Monitor trading activity and flag abnormal behavior or system abuse.
  • Manage leverage settings, margin calls, and stop-out thresholds.
  • Define and apply risk parameters across various client groups.


Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Finance preferred or a Bachelor's in Commerce, Economics, or Accountancy from a recognized university.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar trade support or MT5 administration role within the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Derivatives, CFDs, FX markets, and the MetaTrader 5 platform.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ADGM/FSRA regulations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
