WSP are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Principal Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) and must be a Level 3 RTA Registered TIS Consultant. This role will involve leading traffic engineering projects, preparing and reviewing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and international best practices.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Lead and manage traffic engineering projects, including Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), transport assessments, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare, review, and approve traffic impact analysis reports in compliance with RTA standards and guidelines.
• Provide expert advice and technical solutions for traffic and transportation challenges.
• Conduct traffic modeling, simulations, and capacity analysis using relevant software.
• Engage with RTA, developers, and other key stakeholders to secure approvals for traffic studies.
• Ensure all traffic engineering designs and recommendations align with Dubai’s transport regulations and policies.
• Supervise and mentor junior traffic engineers and technical staff.
• Stay updated with advancements in traffic engineering, including smart mobility solutions and emerging technologies.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in traffic engineering and transport planning.
• Level 3 RTA Registered TIS Consultant (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Dubai’s RTA guidelines, policies, and approval processes.
• Proficiency in traffic analysis software such as SIDRA, Synchro, VISSIM, Cube, or similar tools.
• Experience in leading TIS projects from inception to approval.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
