Job Title: SharePoint and SQL Developer
Job Description
The SharePoint and SQL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions and SQL databases to support business processes and improve data management. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, developing custom SharePoint applications, managing SQL databases, and ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both SharePoint development and SQL Server management, with a focus on optimizing performance, enhancing functionality, and ensuring system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize SharePoint solutions, including workflows, web parts, and document libraries.
Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, including developing and modifying stored procedures, triggers, and indexes.
Develop and maintain data integrations between SharePoint, SQL, and other business systems.
Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of SharePoint and SQL environments.
Implement and maintain SharePoint security, permissions, and data access policies.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and provide solutions to meet data management needs.
Document processes, workflows, and development procedures to ensure system transparency and continuity.
Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades for SharePoint and SQL environments.
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in SharePoint development, including custom workflows, web parts, and SharePoint Designer.
Strong proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, and database management.
Experience with SharePoint Online, Office 365, and SharePoint integrations with external systems.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and JavaScript.
Knowledge of SharePoint security and governance best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with PowerApps and Power Automate is a plus.
