High standards of personal safety, responsibility, accountability & attention to detail are required to do the job successfully.

Good knowledge about rolling process and in Heavy Sections Mill

Thorough knowledge about functions of all areas of a Heavy section mill activity

Knowledge of computer.

Sap system trained.

Strong skills in troubleshooting and quick decision-making ability.

The ability to communicate clearly and accurately and act decisively in a multi-cultural environment is also critical.

Basic idea on roll passes design.

Knowledge about finished products quality and tolerances.

Awareness on safety and safe working procedures.

Technical report writing.


Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)


Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical







Professional Experience (Must haves) Previous Experience/exposure





Minimum of 10 years experience [HAS1] as

Supervisor in wire rod mill.
Work experience in high-speed block mill operation.






Key Performance Indicators

To reduce the operation delay below 3.6%.

To reduce pass/guide delays below 6.3%

To reduce non-prime finished material below 0.3%.

Zero accident.

To make a near miss report twice/per month and Toolbox talk twice/month.
